The sort books in order from easy to advanced are: Letter and Picture Sorts for Emergent Spellers, Letter Name- Alphabetic Spellers, Within Word Patterns Spellers, Syllables and Affixes Spellers, Derivational Relations Spellers. If you don’t you will want the sort books as well. You may have access to the sort books at your school.If you are teaching early childhood, we recommend Words Their Way for PreK-K book. To begin using Words Their Way, we recommend that you gather some supplies. We now use Word Play, a word study program that incorporates differentiated word sorting and other elements like chunk spelling.
